Terms & Conditions with Liability Waiver and Photo/Video Release

1. Agreement to Terms
By enrolling in and attending any camp or program offered by Sound and Stage Academy ("Academy"), you, as a parent or legal guardian of a participating child ("Participant"), acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Participation in any Academy camp is voluntary, and enrollment signifies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Assumption of Risk
The Participant’s parent or legal guardian acknowledges that activities involved in Academy camps, including but not limited to performing arts, creative arts, culinary activities, physical movement, and hands-on projects, carry inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, or sprains, as well as more serious injuries that may result from engaging in camp activities. By enrolling, the parent or guardian assumes all risks associated with the Participant’s involvement in Academy camps.

3. Liability Waiver
The Parent/Guardian, on behalf of themselves and the Participant, waives, releases, and discharges the Academy, its organizers, instructors, employees, affiliates, and facility owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, injury, illness, or death that may occur while participating in an Academy camp, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Medical Authorization and Emergency Treatment
In the event of an accident, injury, or medical emergency involving the Participant, the Academy staff will make reasonable efforts to contact the Parent/Guardian. However, if the Parent/Guardian cannot be reached, they authorize the Academy staff to seek and obtain medical treatment deemed necessary for the Participant’s health and safety. The Parent/Guardian agrees to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of medical treatment.

5. Allergy and Dietary Considerations
Parents/Guardians are responsible for disclosing any known food allergies, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions at the time of registration. While the Academy will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such needs, it cannot guarantee an allergen-free or risk-free environment. The Academy is not liable for any allergic reactions or adverse effects caused by food consumption, cross-contamination, or exposure to allergens.

6. Code of Conduct
All Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, fellow campers, and Academy property. The Academy reserves the right to dismiss any Participant without refund for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.

7. Photo and Video Release
By enrolling in an Academy camp, the Parent/Guardian grants permission for the Participant’s image to be photographed or recorded for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing prior to the start of the camp.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the camp start date.

  • Partial refunds may be considered in cases of documented medical emergencies.

  • The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. If the Academy cancels a camp, full refunds will be provided.

9. Indemnification
The Parent/Guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Academy, its organizers, instructors, and facility owners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the Participant’s actions, participation, or injuries incurred at an Academy camp.

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which the Academy operates.

By completing registration and enrolling the Participant in an Academy camp, the Parent/Guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
